How long have you been riding?
I have been riding downhill for 2 and a bit years

How often do you ride?
In my first year of university, when I started downhill, i used to be out 3-4 times a week but now I struggle to fit in one ride a week!p>

What bike are you currently riding and talk us through your set up?
I am currently on a Santa Cruz v10 carbon (2011 I believe), XL frame, 2010 FOX 40s, and FOX shock. I really don't deserve it but I just love upgrading my bike and can't turn away a good deal! I don't really set up my bike too much but currently my setup is pretty soft with rebound on the slower side. I used to have some Marzocchi 66 bombers on an old Norco which felt amazing to me but I've never been able to replicate that feeling since. Gutted!

What types of riding do you normally do?
Downhill.

What was the last new bit of gear on your bike?
Its newest addition has been the FOX 40s which I bought second hand (and still haven't tried yet) to replace me 2009 Boxxer teams. However the last actually brand new thing I bought for my bike were the grips.

What are your local trails?
When I'm at university in Exeter, its got to be Haldon Forest (cafe side) and when back home Ranmore trails and Ranmore Rampage.

What's your favourite part on your bike?
Brakes. My Avid Codes have never let me down and have loads of modulation. They are quite spongey which I'm not sure is usual but I love them!

Cheers Pierre!
